On Saturday February 6th, 2021,  David Zariwny passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving behind Lisa and his 3 daughters. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

Lisa Zariwny shared this about the passing of Dave:

"Today has been the hardest day of my life. Today I had to say goodbye to my partner of 12 years, the father of my children, and a friend to everyone he met. David Zariwny, we will always cherish our memories of you, and the love you gave so freely. We already miss your laughter, silliness, and your hugs. RIP you will be missed so very much but never forgotten. I hope you are finally at peace. #addiction #mentalhealth"

This fundraiser is to provide Lisa and her daughters with money to cover funeral costs, time off of work and school and to allow them time to grieve.

David Zariwny
December 7, 1976 – February 6, 2021

We are devastated to announce the death of David Zariwny on February 6, 2021 at the age of 44. David was a loving husband, dedicated and loving father, and loyal friend to all he met. He was known for his sincere smile, silly voices, and sense of humour. David could always be counted on as a shoulder to cry on or someone to make you laugh. While he was a fantastic friend, he is remembered as a loving, patient, silly, and engaging father. No one will miss him more than his three perfect daughters.

David is survived by his wife Lisa, his daughters Natalie, Samantha, and Keira, his parents Lynda (Adams) and William, brothers Chris (Molly), Richard (Theresa), and Jason (Lesley), nieces and nephews: Aneleis, Matthew, Noah, Hailey, Zachary, Nathan, Sarah, Abbi, Eden, Anika, Celeste, Jack, and Miriam, and co-parent Erica Russell (Natalie).

A celebration of life will be held at a future date when Covid restrictions permit. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Canadian Mental Health Association or Seven South Street Treatment Centre in Orillia, ON.
