Dear Friends and Family of the Bensons,

Sweet Lily was recently airlifted to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland after experiencing sudden, concerning symptoms. She has since been diagnosed with Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) — a rare autoimmune disorder in which the body mistakenly attacks its own platelets, the cells that help blood clot.

Lily is now under the care of a dedicated team of pediatric specialists, and her parents are by her side every step of the way as they navigate this unexpected and challenging journey.

We’re coming together to raise funds to help ease the financial burden of:

• Medical expenses and treatments

• Travel, meals, and temporary lodging near the hospital

• Support for her parents while they’re away from work
