Hi! My name is Ally Radomski and I’m posting on behalf of my brother Kyle, and Sister-in-law Amber. Their sweet sweet 7 week old baby Charlotte has had a rough start to her life. She has not been gaining weight like she should, despite countless interventions and adjustments made. She has had many drs appointments, procedures, and now her second hospital stay.

Lettie is currently admitted at Integris in OKC in the pediatric ICU. She is being treated for malnutrition, dehydration, and gall stones. Her liver enzymes are also elevated. Her team is doing their best to find a diagnosis for all of the issues she’s facing, at the top of that list being cystic fibrosis, metabolic disorders, and possible liver transplant needs. Her doctors and her parents decided it would be best to place an NG tube for the time being to get her some nutrition and hopefully gain some weight while they are running their tests.

Lettie bug and her parents have a long road ahead of them. Although Kyle and Amber are very fortunate to have a long maternity leave for Amber and a very understanding boss for Kyle, this brings a huge financial burden on them. Not working means not getting paid. Insurance is a whole beast of its own and doesn’t always cover everything needed.
