Help Support Lesli’s Recovery

On Monday, September 15, 2025, my mother Lesli was rushed to the emergency room after experiencing severe difficulty breathing. Doctors discovered she was only using 20% of her right lung. After extensive testing — including X-rays, CT scans, and blood work — she was diagnosed with pneumonia that had spread to her bloodstream, causing sepsis.

She was immediately admitted to the ICU under droplet precautions, and we were told by her medical team that her condition was critical. It was a terrifying moment, not knowing if she would be ok. Thankfully, after intensive treatment with antibiotics and oxygen, Lesli has been released from the ICU and is now continuing her recovery in the hospital with a lung infection and still unable to breathe on her own. This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family, both emotionally and financially. As Lesli focuses on healing, I’m hoping to ease the burden of medical bills and everyday expenses that are piling up.
