Our friend and teammate Leslie has recently received life-changing news: she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. This diagnosis came as a shock, especially since there’s no family history, and just weeks ago, another one of our soccer teammates was also diagnosed. We are devastated to see such a strong, kind-hearted person face this difficult journey.

Leslie will need to undergo surgery and radiation treatments. This will significantly impact her ability to work and support her family during this challenging time. Her daughter is about to enter college, her son is in middle school, and Leslie will likely need some time off from her job at Puma, where she has dedicated over 10 years of her life. She also won't be able to pick up extra shifts reffing soccer games, which she relies on for additional income.

As a community, we want to rally around Leslie and provide her with the support she needs to focus on her health, her fight and her recovery. The mounting medical bills, combined with the financial strain of taking time off for appointments, are overwhelming.
