My name is Donny. I've been a dog lover my whole life. I've fostered many dogs and saved the one I have. My sister Lori also saved a sweet Pit Mix who recently tore his ACL. He's only 6 years old and his name is Leo. She thinks he was trying to jump over her back yard fence to meet the barking dog on the other side which is way too tall for him to actually jump over, but he doesn't know that and he tried anyway. Now the poor guy is in such pain, it's a challenge to get him to eat and drink. The vet estimated surgery to fix his leg would be $5,000. She's a struggling nurse with 2 special needs kids. He has been so good with them. He's a special dog! I hate to see him in such pain and no longer interacting with her kids. I've never done gofundme before so this is my first time trying this.
