Help Support Lei’s Fight Against Breast Cancer
In October, the OBGYN found a lump in Lei’s breast. After a mammogram in November, an ultrasound in December, and finally a biopsy in January, our worst fear was confirmed: triple-positive breast cancer.
On April 13th, Lei underwent a bilateral mastectomy on Oahu, removing all breast tissue, and had expanders placed. Last week, she began chemotherapy — 10 consecutive weeks ahead, followed by a year of immunotherapy every three weeks. When that’s complete, she will need to return to Oahu for breast reconstruction surgery.
Lei’s ohana is a one-income household, with 5 keiki still at home. Her husband, Kol and her mom work together to get her to chemo, care for the kids, and keep life moving during this overwhelming season. Between travel to Oahu, medical expenses, and daily living costs, the financial strain is immense.
We are humbly asking for your help - whether through donations, sharing this page, or keeping Lei & her ohana in your prayers. Every dollar and every kind word makes a difference in this fight.
From the bottom of our hearts, MAHALO for being part of her journey and helping to give hope as she bravely fights this one day at a time.
