Our family is heartbroken to share that my brother, Leif, has been diagnosed with advanced metastatic Appendiceal Mucinous Neoplasm, a very rare cancer. He’s facing the fight of his life with incredible strength and courage, but he can’t do it alone.

Leif is no stranger to the peaks and valleys that life presents. Leif was diagnosed with Autism as a toddler. Anyone who knows, knows the challenges and love this has brought our family, making us even closer to be the biggest support for my sweet brother. We are scared, but know this cancer diagnosis is just another one of life’s hurdles we will overcome together.

Leif has the biggest heart. He’s the kind of person who can make anyone laugh even on the hardest days and who has been the epicenter of our family. Leif is a lover of good food, movies, animals, art, tv shows, and gaming. Leif can always be seen with his Nintendo Switch 2 in hand wherever he goes. Who needs google when you have Leif who is so intelligent and knows almost everything about anything. Leif is an incredible artist. He has pages and pages of drawings in his arsenal. His uplifting spirit, patience, and big heart is just the beginning of why we love him so much.

Between medical bills, treatments, travel expenses, and time away from work, the costs are overwhelming. We’re asking for help to ease some of the financial burden so Leif can focus fully on what matters most; healing and spending time with loved ones.
