Para Dónde Short Film: Support Latino Student Filmmakers

Hi everyone! My name is Isabela and I am a senior at Loyola University New Orleans. I am raising funds for my thesis film"¿Para Dónde Hoy?" The film centers on Ana, a lonely widow navigating life two years after her husband's death. My main goal is to capture feelings of loss, grief and connection that are familiar to so many of us. I am proud to be making a film that centers on the life of a Latina woman because I feel that oftentimes, we have to bend our perspectives in order to relate to those we see on screen. Rarely, is the case reversed.

Funds raised will first and foremost go towards the wellbeing of the cast and crew. This includes catering and craft services (which is often one of the most costly parts of a film budget), transportation and deserving wages.
