Help Support Larry Siegel in his Cancer Battle

Hello to all that love Larry,

My name is Amy and I am setting up this GoFundMe to help support the most positive and life-affirming person I have ever met, Larry Siegel, in his battle with prostate cancer. To know Larry is to love him. He spreads unrelenting love every day and every moment of his life. In the past year, Larry has been battling Stage 1 Prostate cancer like a champion. He has gone vegetarian/vegan, he has taken more supplements than I knew existed, he has spent 5 days a week exercising with a trainer, he has lost over 40 pounds and never missed one day of work in the process. Larry has done everything in his power to fight this cancer in the most healthy organic way possible (all during the pandemic).

However, today on Facebook Larry posted this:

Dear friends and family it is with deep sadness that I write this. As I sit in the hospital getting more tests. Today I was told my prostate cancer is now growing at an alarming rate. The doctors have told me surgery is needed ASAP. I am meeting with surgeons this week and next to find the best one. I am telling you all as I need your prayers and good thoughts. The show of life continues!!!!

Even with this declaration, his positivity knows no bounds. When we spoke today, he told me he was worried about living alone during this time and needs medical help for weeks/months after his surgery. Myself and our NYC friends will be there for him every step of the way to support him (just like he has been there for us); however, the care he needs for the coming weeks and months is not feasible for his friends to help him with. He needs professional medical assistance. His last day of work was abrupt and today. I would ask each and every one of you reading this who have all felt his love, positivity, selflessness and no doubt hooked you up in some way over the years to donate to this GoFundMe in the name of our friend. He would NEVER ask for this help and probably will be surprised af when he reads this but we need to help him and do something for him...just like he has done for each and every one of us so many times in our lives.
