I am running this fundraiser for my brother-in-law Kyle, who is courageously fighting cancer at the age of 38. He received a very recent diagnosis of stage four spinal cord and brain stem cancer. He is the father to my nephew Sylas and niece Adelise and husband to my sister Lauren, who are high school sweethearts. As you can imagine, this has significantly impacted the entire family, and they have to navigate this news one day at a time.
If you ever had the opportunity to meet Kyle, you would know how great of a family man he is. He is a former Marine who served his country overseas during his five and a half years of service. He is a good friend, a loving husband of sixteen years, and a great dad to two wonderful children who always puts his kids first. Kyle coached numerous sports teams for Sylas and Adelise for years in the community in addition to working his daily job. Lauren is the best mom anyone could ask for, going non-stop between work, kids' activities and sports, class mom, field trips, and volunteer work. She would be the last one to ask, but she can use all the help she can get during this time.
Aggressive treatment is starting immediately (6/26/25) and will include five days a week of chemo and radiation, putting a physical and mental toll not only on Kyle but Lauren and their family. There will be medical expenses, transportation costs to and from treatment, time off work, lost wages for doctor's appointments, and need for basic necessities: food, toiletries, cleaning products, gas for transportation, and care for the children.
Lauren and Kyle never ask anyone for much and always find time to help others in need. Now is the time I am asking family, friends, and the community to come together and help this amazing family. The Kadash family is appreciative of any and all support you're willing to extend as they navigate this long road ahead. Every donation, regardless of size, will make a difference. Any support, whether financial or by sharing this campaign or saying a prayer, is greatly appreciated. Thank you for considering supporting Kyle's journey. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.
