Help Young Mom Of 2 Rebuild After Devastating Home Fire

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

I am reaching out in a time of deep need and vulnerability. A recent tragedy has turned my world upside down. A fire destroyed my home where I ran my hairdressing business, leaving me and my two young children without a place to live or a source of income for the foreseeable future.

For the next 6-12 months, we face the challenge of finding temporary housing and rebuilding our lives while navigating the loss of our home and livelihood. As a single parent with limited support in the city, I’m unsure how long we can sustain our livelihood and keep life as stable as possible for my young children (age 1 and 5) during this difficult time. We have lost our personal belongings including all furniture, appliances, beds and our clothing.
