Dear Friends, Family, and the Kind-hearted,

I am reaching out to you today to share the story of a truly remarkable, beautiful woman, Kruti, who has recently been diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), a debilitating disease that is rapidly progressing. As a single mother of two wonderful teenage children, Kruti has always been the rock of her family, offering love, support, and strength to everyone around her. Now, she needs that same love and support as she faces this challenging journey.

In August 2024, Kruti received the devastating news that she has ALS, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. As the disease advances, it will affect her ability to move, speak, and eventually breathe. ALS has no cure, and its progression can be rapid and unpredictable.

Despite the overwhelming challenges, Kruti has remained strong and positive for her children, who are still in their teenage years. She is determined to fight for as long as she can, but she cannot do it alone.

The effects of ALS are severe and require constant care and assistance, and this is where we need your support. As her condition progresses, Kruti will require 24/7 care to help with daily activities like eating, bathing, moving, and managing her health. Unfortunately, the financial burden of hiring a full-time caregiver is overwhelming, and insurance does not cover the entire cost.

We are raising money to provide her with the care she desperately needs during this difficult time. The funds will go towards:

24/7 Caregiver Support: Hiring professional caregivers to assist with daily activities and ensure her safety and comfort. We are conservatively estimating this at 50K

Support for Her Children: To help relieve some of the financial burden from family, so they can focus on spending quality time together and supporting their mother. For college tuition even with both kids working part-time we are estimating another 50K
