Dear community,

On behalf of my dear friend of 22 years, Krista, and the love of her life, Tim, I have decided to set up a GoFundMe to offer some financial relief for Krista and her children during this sudden and tragic passing of her partner Tim. These funds will go towards allowing her time off of work to grieve, plan and prepare for his memorial in September and to be financially secure and as stress free as possible.

For those of you who don't know Tim, he was well-loved in his community and knew a lot of people. You couldn't go anywhere with Tim without him running into a handful of people he knew, even in the towns surrounding. He had a close-knit group of friends throughout his life and made a point to check on people and keep in touch over the years from what Krista has told me.

I didn’t know Tim as well as many people did but Krista has been my dear friend for most of my life. When she met Tim, she raved about him and lit up in a special kind of way. When Krista introduced me to him you could see in their eyes the deep love they shared for each other. I’ve never seen her so happy. They shared a rare love that was beautiful to witness. In honor of that love that was unexpectedly cut short, I’m asking anyone able and willing to help my friend and her children get through the days ahead.

Krista is one of the most loving people I’ve ever known. She spreads love and kindness to every person she encounters, and shows up for people when they need support, love and healing. I hope that we can offer her some support and lift her in this stressful and difficult time of need!
