Kim’s real name is Clarice McCall, but to everyone who knows her, she is simply Kim—the heart of her family and the “Oakridge mom” to our entire community.

Kim has been with Oakridge for over 20 years, and her son Zach for five. She is known by everyone—residents, management, vendors, and even lawyers—as someone who is endlessly kind, dependable, and generous. In all her years here, not a single person has had a bad word to say about her. She is deeply family-oriented, a devoted wife, a loving mother to five sons and a daughter, and a proud grandmother. She is the person people turn to. She is family to all of us.

Tragically, Kim and her husband Teddy were involved in a devastating car accident late last night. Their car was T-boned by a speeding driver. Teddy—Kim’s husband, partner, and provider—was killed instantly. Kim survived, but with severe injuries.

Kim suffered six broken ribs, a broken collarbone, and a fractured spine. Miraculously, she is in stable condition and is expected to recover, but she will be hospitalized for some time and faces a long, painful road ahead.

Teddy was a landscaper by trade, and his work supported their family. With his sudden passing, the family is facing overwhelming expenses—funeral and burial costs, the loss of income, medical bills, and the need to replace their vehicle—all while Kim is still fighting to recover.

This is a deeply faithful, close-knit family, but no one should have to carry this burden alone.
