It saddens us to make this update.. Kim passed Sunday June 29th. She fought with everything that she had until the very end. At this time, her family is asking for any help in covering funeral costs and day to day bills. Her family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to everyone that has already donated previously.

My name is Kim and I am a married mother of three amazing boys. Last month I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in my mouth, tongue, jawbone and glands in my throat. I am waiting now for my team to schedule surgery with extensive facial reconstruction.. After which I will remain in Tampa General Hospital for most of my recovery due to the fact I will have a feeding tube and maybe a tracheotomy. I do have insurance, although of course it doesn’t cover everything, including co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles. It also does not cover any dental work I will need after surgery, due to the fact that they will have to remove all of my teeth prior to radiation treatments. I am asking for help to cover my max out of pocket that I know of so far and subsequent dental work. This has been an extremely difficult time for me and my family so I want to thank everyone in advance for even reading my story. We are positive I will make it through this difficult diagnosis and journey to recovery. Thank you for your support, prayers and positive thoughts.
