Help support Kim & her family during cancer treatments

Hello my name is Amanda Dawson and I am fundraising for my best friend, Kim Weber. On February 2, 2024 she was diagnosed with invasive ductile carcinoma Stage 1. She had a lumpectomy/lymph nodes surgery on March 11. After testing of the tumor and nodes it was found that the cancer had spread to the lymph nodes. Fortunately it was caught very early, but the unknowns going forward have put a huge strain on her and her family. Not only is she fighting cancer, but is also dealing with PTSD. On December 8, 2022 her place of work had a major explosion and she has been off work since then. It has been a mental struggle for her and now dealing with a new storm. After the testing showed cancer in the lymph nodes the treatment plan now includes chemotherapy, radiation was always on the list - up to 6 weeks. On April 22 she will go in for surgery to get a port placed on her left side and on May 1 she will have her first chemo treatment.

Kim is overwhelmed with fear, questions and what if’s. She knows it will be a process, but is staying positive and will get through this bump in the road. During this time I am hoping to help lessen her bills, help pay for trips to treatment and reduce her worry. Anything in these type of situations helps.
