Help Support Kiara and her Baby Girl

This past Saturday, my sister Kiara, who is 30 weeks pregnant, called me feeling unwell and was rushed to the ER. She was diagnosed with pneumonia in both lungs and admitted to the ICU, where she was placed on 100% oxygen. While she is slowly improving and now able to breathe on her own 50% of the time, she remains on a ventilator for support.

Due to the severity of her condition, doctors had to induce labor early, and Kiara’s baby girl was born weighing just 1.4kg (3 pounds 1.7 oz). She is currently in the NICU, under close nurse supervision. She is also on oxygen and is being treated for jaundice.

On top of this already difficult situation, Kiara and her boyfriend, Matthew, have a 10-month-old son at home. Matthew, his family, and our family are all coming together to hold down the fort while navigating the stress of this unexpected crisis.

We are hoping to raise funds to help with medical expenses for both Kiara and her baby girl, as well as to support their family during this challenging time. Any amount helps, and we appreciate all the love, prayers, and support.
