We are asking for your aid in fundraising to help Kewe King on her journey to represent Team Nigeria alongside Simidele Adeagbo in 2-Woman Bobsleigh at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

Kewe’s bobsleigh journey began in 2024; she was working as a nurse in the British Army when there was a call for women with a Nigerian background and sporting experience to become a brakewoman for Team Nigeria. With a love for the extreme and a background in athletics, this was an incredible opportunity for Kewe. She began her training in November 2023 and went on to compete in her first competition at the Europe Cup in Innsbruck in February 2024. Since then, she has gone on to compete in a total of 9 races as of December 2025 and we couldn’t be more proud of her!

In November 2025, Kewe and Simi made history as the first African 2-person bobsleigh team to compete in an IBSF (International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation) World Cup, opening doors not just for Nigeria, but for all of Africa in the world of winter sport.

Being a winter sport, the costs associated with Bobsleigh can be considerable. As such, we humbly ask for your help in aiding Kewe so she may continue her journey in this amazing sport. Your kind donations will go towards training, equipment, and travel costs for the various competitions in which Team Nigeria is participating in order to qualify for the Olympics, as well the costs to compete in the Olympics itself. This is such an exciting time for Team Nigeria and every donation helps in making this happen.

We understand not everyone may be in a position to donate at the moment, but even just sharing this with your friends and family can go a long way in aiding Kewe!

We are so grateful for the time you have taken to read this and your donations will go a long way in supporting Team Nigeria! Thank you.
