Help Support Kevin's Life Saving Open Heart Surgery

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We come to you with heavy hearts but also with hope. Our beloved husband, father, son and friend Kevin is facing a critical health challenge that is threatening his life. He went in for a routine plaque scan that looked good, but they called and told him they found a large aneurysm in his Aorta, they also found he has a leaking Bi-Cuspid valve, the combination of the size of the aneurysm (5.2cm) and the leaking valve below it causes concern of a fatal rupture so this will require extensive open-heart surgery to replace that section of his aorta, replace the valve and possible valve saving root. He will require a hospital stay in ICU and will be out of work and recovering for several months following.

Kevin is a self-employed small business owner in the Roy-Hooper community, he is the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. He’s always the first to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors, but not one to ever ask for help for himself so we are doing it for him. He is one of the hardest working men you'll meet, and this is going to be a tough road for him, changing his life and what he's able to do in the future.

Doctors have informed him the surgery needs to happen, and the sooner the better, with the cost of the surgery, hospital stay, and post-operative care it's overwhelming. We want him to be able to get the care he needs and to be able to recover so we are reaching out to you, our family, friends and community, for support. Every donation, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to ensuring Kevin gets the care he urgently needs.
