Help Support Kerigan's Liver Journey

Our family has been on a medical journey with my daughter-in-law, Kerigan Samer, since July of last year. Kerigan began to notice her eyes and skin becoming yellow along with an overall decrease in energy. After a quick trip to our local ER, Kerigan was transferred to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. After a week in the hospital, extensive testing, countless blood draws, and a liver biopsy, it was determined Kerigan has Autoimmune Hepatitis. Very quickly in the last week, her situation has become critical. She is back in Wesley Medical Center for the last week in the Intensive Medical Unit and is now awaiting a call from the Denver transplant center for a liver transplant.

We, as a family, have come together to support Kerigan and Derek through this difficult process. Derek has been by her side and plans to remain her rock, her voice, her advocate, and her comfort as this journey continues. If you feel it in your heart to donate, any money raised will be used to help with medical, travel, meals, lodging, and other related expenses. Our goal is to ease any financial impact we can so their focus can remain on Kerigan healing and coming home.
