Help Support Ken Bass

Donation protected
We are calling on all former and current students, athletes and colleagues who have had the benefit of learning from Ken Bass. We have a unique opportunity to be able to give back to someone we care about, who has given so much.

Ken Bass was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer and is currently in hospice care. He is continuing to battle every day and has a tough fight ahead of him. While he’s working on his health, we would like to take one stress off his plate and do our best to make sure that his medical bills are covered. This will also allow his family to dedicate their time to making sure that Ken is cared for properly.

Ken has helped educate and coach in South Florida since he began his career at Nova High School in 1987, where he taught World History, American History and spent his evenings as an assistant baseball coach under Coach Pat McQuaid. From there, Ken was the assistant principal at Tequesta Trace Middle School and South Broward High School. In 2003, Ken became the principal at Pembroke Pines Charter K-8, where he helped shape another generation of students for 15 years. Since January 2019, Ken has been Xceed Preparatory Academy’s head of school in Weston.

We know “Mr. Bass” or “Coach Bass” would have never asked us to put something like this together for him, however, we wanted to do anything we could to help Ken and his wife, Beth in their time of need. Therefore, we would appreciate it if you would consider donating.
