Help Support Kelly, Bridget & Caitlyn McKenna

Donation protected
My entire life I have looked up to my sister.  I wanted to be like her in every way.  She is funny, smart, creative, super clean, has the best handwriting, and she made my childhood fun!  We spent a lot of time together as children.  She would walk me home from school, sometimes rolling a pumpkin all the way home.  We had water fights in the kitchen with the sink sprayer, or she would give me baths and use shaving cream to give me a beard or a crown.  Kelly has been known to lock me out of the house in my underwear, rock out to music in our family room and trade stickers with me, that is, when I could talk her into staying home on a Friday night during high school.  To say we kept many funny stories from our parents is an understatement.

Kelly was always my biggest cheerleader!  You could always hear her scream at my graduations.  She was also my protector.  What makes this even more amazing is she is seven years older.  She never looked at me like a pest.  Instead, she loved to be with me as much as I did with her.  It continues to this day.  Now it is time for me to be her protector, and her cheerleader.  She needs as much support now as possible.

On February 17, her loving husband Pete, passed away at only 50 years old.  He leaves Kelly and her 20 year old twin daughters Bridget and Caitlyn.  Bridget and Caitlyn are amazing college students at Minnesota and The Ohio State University.  They are both Kappa Kappa Gamma members.  Bridget is the President of her chapter, and Caitlyn is the New Member Chairman – even more impressive being they are only sophomores!  They have big aspirations, always striving to be the best!  Bridget dreams of becoming a labor & delivery nurse or midwife, and Caitlyn, a physical therapist.  This comes as no surprise, as they are always willing to help and take care of others.  They are kind, gentle amazing people.  I hope to help support those dreams with your assistance.

Previous to this huge loss, Kelly was laid off from her job due to the industry in which she works.  She has been interviewing throughout her grieving process.  It is so much to have on her shoulders – too much – all while missing her best friend.  I hope to relieve some of the stress and worry about paying for the all of twins’ college expenses.

There is nothing that can bring “Peej” back, but with your help we can help support the continuing education of Bridget & Caitlyn!  Thank you for your donation, prayers and sharing of this page on social media.  Our entire family is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love and concern!
