Help Support Kayy’s Children & Memorial Fund
Donation protected
With deep sadness and unimaginable heartbreak, I share the tragic and unexpected passing of my beautiful fiancée, Ka’adissey Woods — lovingly known as Kayy or Pie — who left us far too soon on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, at just 21 years old due to a cardiopulmonary embolism.
Kayy was a shining light — a sweet, warm bundle of joy who brought love, laughter, and compassion into every space she entered. She was known for her generosity and her constant willingness to help anyone in need. She always put others before herself — especially her family. Kayy was an honors student throughout school, and she was in college working toward her dream of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. Her goal was simple but powerful: to save lives and create a better future for her children.
She leaves behind our two beautiful daughters: Jendaya (3) and Karbon (1) — the absolute center of her world. As her fiancé and the father of our children, I am now facing the unimaginable task of navigating life without her while making sure our girls are loved, protected, and cared for in every way — emotionally, physically, and financially.
Because this happened so suddenly, we were not prepared. We did not have life insurance, and we are now facing the overwhelming burden of funeral and memorial expenses, along with the long-term needs of Jendaya and Karbon as they grow up without their mother.
This GoFundMe has been created to ask for your support in honoring Kayy’s memory and helping care for our daughters. Your donations will go directly toward:
• Funeral and memorial service costs
• Immediate needs for Jendaya and Karbon (childcare, diapers, clothing, etc.)
• Creating a trust to help secure their future, including education and basic living needs
Whether you’re a friend, family member, or someone who simply feels moved by Kayy’s story — any amount you can give is deeply appreciated. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help us reach others who may be able to offer support.
There are no words to express the heartbreak of losing someone so full of life and love. But your kindness, your prayers, and your support are helping us find strength in the darkest time of our lives.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
With love and gratitude,
