On August 1, 2026, our dear friend, James "Jim" Brasher, lost his life in a tragic workplace accident. In an instant, a devoted husband, loyal friend, and truly remarkable man was taken from all of us.

Jim was the kind of person who made this world better simply by being in it. If someone needed help, he was there. He would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought and never expect anything in return. He was selfless, genuine, larger than life, and fiercely loved his family, his friends, and this country. He was a true patriot in every sense of the word.

None of us were prepared for this. It wasn't supposed to end this way. There was so much more life left to live.

While Jim's family is grieving this unimaginable loss, his wife, Karyn, is also facing an incredibly serious medical battle of her own. Out of respect for her privacy, we won't share all the details, but she has a long and difficult road ahead that will require extensive treatment, recovery, and ongoing care. She now faces that journey without the love of her life by her side.

As you can imagine, there are many financial uncertainties in the days ahead. Between funeral expenses, everyday living costs, potential gaps in insurance coverage, medical expenses, and the many unknowns that follow such a sudden tragedy, the burden is overwhelming.
