Help Support Kaitlyn’s Battle Against Brain Tumor
Donation protected
After a reaction to a medication for the start of a cluster of migraines triggered a reaction, resulting in a CT scan that led Kaitlyn to being diagnosed with a brain tumor in December of 2022. After numerous scans and injections over 2 years, nothing was able to help her migraines lessen. She has taken all the strength she has to learn to live with constant debilitating migraines.
After a horrible spell of seizures and migraines, the neurosurgeon ordered a stat lumbar puncture, specialized scans, and hours of testing with a neurosurgeon-ophthalmologist all in the matter of a few days. The results of the lumbar puncture came back with high levels of pressure in her spinal fluid.
Kaitlyn’s neurosurgery team decided surgery to install a shunt in her brain would be the best way to relieve the pressure off her brain. Her surgery is scheduled for February 10. It is time for us to be there for her as much as she has been there for us over the years. Kaitlyn will need help with the debt of these unexpected medical bills. Any funds raised will help ease the burden of those losses so that she can concentrate on her healing. Let's fight this together!
