Hello! My name is Kaden Weis and I am a sophomore at the University of Nebraska Omaha. I am currently pursuing a BA in theatre, and I have aspirations of becoming a professional actor after I graduate! My time so far at UNO has been nothing short of amazing, as I have received many opportunities to grow, learn, and continue my journey on accomplishing this dream of mine.

I’m very excited to announce that at the end of the semester, me and many of my classmates have the amazing opportunity to travel abroad to London where I will be engulfed into one of the biggest art scenes in the world. On this trip, I will be able to see many professional and avant-garde theatre ranging from large productions at the renowned National Theatre, to underground and experimental theatre in the artistic district of Soho. I also will have the privilege of seeing a show at the iconic Globe Theatre, and then take part in a master class hosted by the same actors I will see on stage! Having so much exposure to many different techniques and being able to analyze many different performances would be an amazing way to improve my skills, and open my eyes to another side of theatre we don’t always get at home.

Yet again I can’t state how thankful I have been for my time at UNO, and I am even more grateful for your support! Your donation will help me cover a great portion of the cost of this trip, and also aid me in paying for food and other theatre opportunities. I hope to grow as an artist, and improve my capabilities of storytelling for years to come!
