Hey! My name is Kaden Paniagua and I am a junior at Kent State University studying Neuroscience with a minor in Public Health. I was a member of Phi Delta Epsilon medical fraternity. I am involved in Kent State Survivor with an executive role as Creative Director. I am very dedicated to my education and future goals of becoming a physician, working in pediatrics. This is why I am ecstatic and blessed to have been recently accepted to participate in the Atlantis Fellowship where I will spend two weeks in Rome, Italy shadowing doctors to expand my medical knowledge. I will be able to observe new specialties throughout my time in this program. This high level of medical exposure affords students the opportunity to view medicine in action and guides them in their decision to continue to pursue medicine as a vocation. Participating in this program assists in demonstrating my devotion and commitment to the medical field. I will also be able to connect with other pre-med students from around the world. The Atlantis Fellowship exists to help students like me gain vision for my future career in medicine. The fellowship also provides opportunities for additional volunteering, medical humanities research, and MCAT and AMCAS prep. After completing my pre-med requirements, I will be attending medical school which is an extremely competitive endeavor and this program will help set me apart from other applicants.
While this experience will be valuable, I will need support funding this trip. This fellowship will not be possible without support and prayers from family, friends, and anyone else so gracious to lend your support.
No gift is too small. Any donation helps. I thank you all in advance for your time, love, and consideration in helping me achieve this goal.
Thank you again for reading this and considering support!
