A Son's Plea: Help Save My Mother's Life

On the night of May 11th, 2025—Mother’s Day—I noticed my mom's location was on the side of the highway for an unusual amount of time and in an unfamiliar state, so I panicked and started to call the family to start a search for my mom. My mother, a beloved pillar of our family and the Atlanta community suffered a catastrophic brain aneurysm while driving home alone to Atlanta from North Carolina where she spent Mother's Day with my 16-year-old sister. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and placed on a ventilator, fighting for her life.

Since that night, she has undergone three life-threatening surgeries, including the removal of part of her skull to relieve pressure on her brain. Despite the odds, she remains in the Neuro ICU, unconscious but stable. Doctors say her survival is nothing short of a miracle being that she spent 13 hours alone bleeding from her brain on the highway of South Carolina. We know battle is far from over.

As her son, I am not just asking for financial support—I am pleading for prayers, positive energy, and any help you can offer. Our family, friends, and the entire Atlanta community are rallying around her, but the road to recovery is long and uncertain.
