Help Support Julie & Keith Meet Matthew’s Funeral Costs

It is with deep sadness that we share the loss of Matthew Williams, who tragically passed away on January 15th at the age of 28.

Matthew was born with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), a rare genetic condition that affects approximately one in 15,000 births, PWS has no known cure. Despite the many challenges Matthew faced, he was surrounded by the unwavering love and care of his devoted parents, Julie and Keith who put their own needs last and dedicated themselves to providing him with a life full of support, joy, and compassion.

Matthew’s sudden passing has left a profound hole in the hearts of his parents, who are now navigating the overwhelming pain of their loss, as well as having to deal with all of the financial issues they were unprepared for.

During this incredibly difficult time, we want to come together as a community to offer them our support.

With the family’s blessing, a group of friends, including myself (Kim), have started this fundraiser to help cover Matthew’s funeral expenses and provide some financial relief as Julie and Keith begin to adjust to life without their son.

This is an opportunity to show Julie and Keith that they are not alone, and that Matthew’s legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
