It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Julie Early on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022.
In 2020 Julie was diagnosed with brain cancer. Over the past two years Julie's mom Hazel and Julie's two kids Lorelai (10) and Jordan (14) have been caring for Julie as her health declined. Julie lived longer than the doctors anticipated, and at the end of March 2022 the doctor's found an experimental treatment for Julie. The treatment was likely going to remove the cancer. However, only a few short weeks after hearing of the potential cure, Julie fell and could not recover. It was a painful 17 days of Julie being on life-support before she eventually passed.
Many in the community have been reaching out to ask how they can best help the family. Over the past two years Hazel and the kids have put their lives on hold to care for Julie. Jordan walked through these years at the ages of 12-14 and Lorelai 8-10. They could not leave Julie alone at the house for fear she might fall, as she lost most of her eyesight due to the first round of radiation.
So I (Kristen Teaman, Julie's cousin) decided to reopen the GoFundMe in order to bless Hazel and the kids. There will be many future financial needs, medical bills, and living expenses. We would also like Hazel and the kids to be able to go out and enjoy some of the things they put on hold as they lovingly cared for Julie.
Also, Julie was so moved by the countless meals, gifts, and money she received over these past two years. Thank you for caring for her.
