My name is Duane, I am raising funds for my very good friend Julia, she is an amazing person, she is always ready to help those around her, many people have seen her walking her beloved Basset-hound “Henry” around the local lake and businesses spreading joy to all they meet!
Super Bowl Sunday Julia was viciously attacked, she was repeatedly punched in her head, as a result of this assault she suffered a concussion and even worse three strokes, she is only 56 years old.
- julia has a dog, cat and two conure birds, she lives alone and is self supporting. Julia needs funds for medical costs, equipment, medication, and her basic living costs, including food for her and all her pets, she is unable to work at all and has a long challenging road to recovery.
Julia is now visually impaired, and balance and coordination are minimal at best, she needs to learn to walk and care for herself all over again. She is undergoing physical, occupational, and speech therapy daily. She also requires home health nurses to monitor her progress and many medications. She is strong and remains positive that she will recover quickly, Henry being her biggest motivator! Let’s help Julia get back on her feet!
