Help support Jude (Currie) Madison's road to recovery

Hello. My name is Mike Madison and Jude (Currie) Madison is my wife. Jude has spent most of her adult life 35+ yrs working in Eye Care for many different eye doctors, eye surgeons and medical offices in Denver, CO and Cincinnati, OH. Jude also assisted in continued education in training people in eye care via RMOP for over 20 years. (Rocky Mountain Ophthalmic Personnel). She volunteered her time to manage, coordinate and set up each meeting with the help of many people. She helped on the Cheer Team while her daughter Christina was in high school and traveled to many different competitions and loved every minute. Listening to cheer routines with “Oh Ricky You’re So Fine” over and over was a little much for me personally but Jude loved it. She is a people person for sure and loves making people happy especially her grand kids.

Recently she had an unexpected life changing event. She had a cardiac arrest (her heart stopped) on the way to the hospital in the ambulance. It’s been a roller coaster of ups and downs in her treatment by many different doctors, specialists and nurses to save her life. She has been through many procedures. During Jude’s stay in the ICU at 2 different hospitals Christina and I have had to make several major life decisions that I never thought I would ever have to be part of concerning my wife. We have had a crash course in specialized last resort life saving machines. It has truly been overwhelming.

Jude has touched many different lives in her life journey. She would never ask for help but we are. Jude needs the type of medical care and eventually/hopefully physical therapy that is very expensive. Please give what you can and know that we are all extremely appreciative. We need Jude’s optimism and positive attitude in this world for a long time to come.
