Ayudemos a Juan en su recuperación tras un grave accidente en bicicleta

Anoche, mi primo Juan sufrió un grave accidente en bicicleta que le causó lesiones internas. Fue llevado de urgencia al hospital, donde los médicos descubrieron una hemorragia interna en el abdomen y tuvieron que realizarle una cirugía de emergencia.

Durante la operación, encontraron una sección del intestino que ya no tenía irrigación y tuvieron que removerla. Como resultado, Juan ahora tiene una colostomía y deberá permanecer varios días/semanas más en el hospital mientras se recupera y recibe atención médica constante.

Juan es estudiante internacional en Australia y trabaja muy duro para mantenerse por su cuenta. Tiene tres trabajos para poder pagar sus estudios y su vida diaria. Pero ahora, debido a esta situación, no podrá trabajar durante un tiempo.

Aunque cuenta con un seguro médico para estudiantes internacionales, lamentablemente no cubre todos los gastos médicos, que ya son bastante altos. A esto se suma que no tendrá ingresos para pagar el arriendo, comida, servicios y demás gastos básicos.

Por eso, hoy pedimos su ayuda. Cada aporte que recibamos será destinado directamente a cubrir los gastos médicos y de vida de Juan, para que pueda enfocarse en su recuperación sin preocuparse por lo económico.

Juan es una persona trabajadora, humilde y con un gran corazón. Cualquier apoyo —ya sea una donación, compartir esta campaña o simplemente enviar un mensaje de ánimo— significa muchísimo para él y para nuestra familia.

Last night, my cousin Juan was in a serious push bike accident that left him with internal injuries. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered internal bleeding in his abdomen and had to perform emergency surgery.

During surgery, they found a section of dead bowel that had to be removed, and Juan has now been fitted with a colostomy. He will remain in hospital for several more days/weeks to recover from this major operation and to be closely monitored.

Juan is an international student here in Australia, working incredibly hard to support himself. He holds down three jobs just to stay afloat while studying — but now, he won’t be able to work for some time. Unfortunately, while he does have international student medical insurance, it won’t cover the full cost of his hospital stay, surgery, and follow-up care.

On top of overwhelming medical bills, Juan is now facing weeks with no income to help cover his rent, food, utilities, and other basic needs.

We're asking for your help during this incredibly difficult time. Every dollar raised will go directly to helping Juan cover his medical expenses and cost of living while he focuses on healing.
