After having survived a brain tumor as a child, Joshua (Sarah) Cleveland was diagnosed with Kidney Disease in 2022. This October, Josh's kidney function took a turn for the worse. He is currently receiving kidney dialysis three days a week at a medical facility, and thankfully he has now been approved for in-home kidney dialysis. However, the transition process is lengthy, so Josh will not be able to start the in-home dialysis until February. Josh's best option for a long, healthy life is a kidney transplant. He and his wife Sarah will be in Rochester the first full week of January for transplant testing. The wait for a kidney can be 3 to 5 years unless a living donor is found. (He recently found out his blood type is O+.) Josh is taking strides in the right direction, and he is now on medications that keep him feeling stable. Josh's employer has been very understanding, and he has been able to work 2 days a week. But, the medical bills are adding up, and Josh and Sarah could use our help. They are such a wonderful couple with the biggest, giving hearts. Please give back to them if you are able, and help Josh and Sarah look to the New Year with hope!
