Help Support Joseph's Family and pray for his recovery.

Hi my name is Jill and I am one of Joseph's sisters. Joseph comes from a large family and he himself is a father of eight beautiful children. He is a devoted husband and family means everything in the world to him. My brother lives each day around his children and his wife. He has worked hard to be the best dad he could possibly be.

Joseph is a fun, energetic and charismatic person. He is one of the world's best singers (in my opinion,) he loves to travel with his family, and he is very well known and loved in our community.

My brother has such a big heart. He is always giving to others. He has helped many people get homes, vehicles and has even paid monthly bills of those in need. It isn't that he could afford to give as much as he did... instead, Joseph chose to to work harder, cut out things he may want, and live with less himself. People really matter to my brother. He loves deeply, he is passionate and deliberate about touching many lives.

On April 7th of this year, Joseph's family was sitting down to eat the evening meal and Joseph unexplainably collapsed.

Without warning and within moments, Joseph quit breathing and his heart stopped. His oldest daughter began CPR as the family awaited the arrival of the EMS. After some time, Joseph took a breath, and they felt a pulse. (We learned over the past few weeks that my brother was without a heartbeat for over 15 minutes, and went 5 full minutes without oxygen to the brain. We are living each day believing that Joseph will not suffer long term damage because of this.)

Since that day, our family has surrounded my brother's bedside. We have rubbed his feet, sang him songs, and continually prayed that he will return to us.

Joseph was on a ventilator for a few long weeks and each day we would see small steps of progress and rejoiced in every miraculous sign of life. Now Joseph is in therapy, learning to walk and care for himself. He has lost much of his memory and each day we pray the lights come on and he is fully restored. The report of the physicians is that his recovery could be weeks, months or even stretch into years.

Today, we are reaching out for support of all those who have a heart to give to his family as they await his recovery. We are hopeful that he will be restored to all those that love him so deeply.

Your support will go toward the weight of medical expenses (up to 13,200 this year alone.) It will also help Joseph's family maintain food and monthly bills while Joseph recovers to hopefully return to work one day.
