Help Support John’s Ongoing Care
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for my dad, John Angstadt — a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and a man who has always put his family first.
My dad was diagnosed with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus 3 years ago and Alzheimer’s Disease a few months ago, two life-altering conditions that have completely turned our world upside down. Over the past several months, he has undergone multiple brain surgeries in hopes of improving his condition, but unfortunately, they have not been successful.
As a result, my dad now requires full-time, 24/7 care in a rehabilitation facility where he is re-learning how to walk, talk, feed himself, and so many other skills we take for granted each day. Due to his slow progress, insurance will no longer pay for his rehabilitation stay, and he must now be transferred to a personal care facility to continue to heal. This transition has been incredibly difficult emotionally and financially for our family. The medical expenses from hospitalizations, surgical procedures, and long-term care costs continue to grow, and we are doing everything we can to give him the dignity and comfort he deserves, with absolutely no willingness to give up on his recovery.
We are hoping to raise $50,000 to help cover:
* Outstanding hospital bills
* Ongoing personal care living expenses
* Medical equipment and supplies
* Transportation and support services for appointments and therapies
My dad has always been the one others could rely on — now we’re hoping to lean on the love and support of others during his time of need. Any amount you can give, no matter the quantity, will go directly toward his care and make a meaningful difference.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and most importantly, prayers.
With gratitude,
Lauren and Logan Becker on behalf of John and Cheryl Angstadt and the Angstadt family
