In August 2025, we received heartbreaking news that my father, John, was officially diagnosed with prostate cancer. It was confirmed after a whole month of tests, exams, and a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis. He underwent surgery on September 4th, and is preparing for recovery and ongoing appointments after. His recovery is estimated to be around 5 to 7 months. However, the financial burden is quickly adding up.

My father has worked for UPS as a delivery driver for 33 years. Every day, he works 9-12 hour shifts in all types of weather—from heat waves, pouring rains, to snowstorms and cold temperatures. My father has always worked hard every day to take care of and provide for his family. He consistently puts his family before himself and is loved by everyone around him. He is loved by those who know him for his kindness, hard work ethic, and dedication. He is always there for us, and now it's our turn to be there for him.
