Hi to my family and friends I have set up a Go Fund Me for 1 year worth of financial support for my son John Cruz, as he undergoes dialysis and waits to match with a kidney donor, gets a transplant and through recovery.

John has always been superman and has a heart of gold. He is an amazing father, and friend to many.

The emotional burden of such a life-changing surgery and also managing dialysis every other day for 4 hours a day and unable to work, is more than enough to deal with and would love to ease some the financial burden for my son and his family.

Some of you that have known John Cruz, know that he has had diabetes through most of his adult life. John does his best to deal with his health issue without complaining and does not ask for help from others. John now finds himself in the position where he is asking for help.

We so appreciate any and all support friends and family are willing to give to help John and his family. Even if that cannot support financially, please share and help us exceed our goal.

It was strongly suggested that we try to find a living donor over waiting for deceased donor organ because of the life expectancy of the kidney being much longer and my son's body will manage the surgery with greater outcome.
