In case you have not yet heard, Manasquan Park’s very own John Michael Keynton

(affectionately known as JM), at only 29 years old, was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and spent over a week at Ocean Medical Center.

JM has already started radiation therapy and has recently begun chemotherapy treatment.

JM absolutely adores Wall Township and specifically the community of Manasquan Park, having lived here his entire life.

You have probably seen JM out and about in the community, whether it was on a softball field or a soccer field where he has been an assistant coach, hanging out at Heroes Park playing pick-up games of wiffle ball or kickball with the neighborhood kids, or walking around town talking sports (high school, collegiate, professional - doesn’t matter, he likes them all!).

JM holds this community and everyone in it in the highest regard and he’s one of the reasons Manasquan Park is the best place to live. As he has given so much to us, it’s time for us to pay it forward and give back!

JM knows what it’s like to deal with adversity and this fight will be his toughest battle. Let’s show him and his family that we have his back and we won’t let him fall. Let’s be the shoulder of support that he can lean on to help him get through this!
