John Beaver is fighting the fight again.

Hello, this is Roxi, John’s partner speaking on his behalf. A little over three weeks ago John was finding himself at work feeling winded and having a hard time breathing. As a zookeeper he’s required to walk long distances every day so unfortunately, he had to take a leave of absence from work.

As his medical situation continued to get worse he had to go to the emergency room where after many scans, tests and doctor visits they, unfortunately, found and diagnosed him with congestive heart failure.

Almost 10 years ago John was diagnosed with level three colon cancer and he had to have life-saving surgery and go through very challenging chemotherapy treatment. In the end as the fighter, he is he was able to thankfully say he had beat cancer! Now he has to fight for his life again and find a way to overcome congestive heart failure with his heart only working at 25%.

John has always been a bright light and has touched so many people's lives with his story and resilience to maintain a positive attitude against all odds!

So many people have been reaching out asking if they could donate to this cause and offer any help so I have created a Go Fund Me so anyone that wanted can help in this difficult time. The money will be used towards any expenses he may have for these next few months as he only gets a portion of his checks from disability.
