On June 4, the friends and family of Erin Maura O'Neill Proto suffered an unimaginable loss with her unexpected passing. She was taken far too soon and her absence is devastating to everyone, most of all her husband and soulmate, Joel Proto.

Erin will be remembered as a loving wife, cherished family member, proud beagle mom, and loyal friend. As her father-in-law told her recently, when she walked into a room, "you can just feel the love". From the care she showed to all animals including her rescue dogs, to kind gestures like dropping off snacks she made in advance of parties she wouldn't be able to attend, her big heart led her through life.

In this time of unimaginable loss, we ask for your help to support the man Erin loved most. As Joel begins this chapter of life without his best friend and partner of 39 years, he faces significant and unexpected expenses.
