Help support Joe during his journey of recovery
Donation protected
On the way home from a night out, two friends, Juan Reyes and Joe Fortunato, were on Interstate 10 early Sunday when a drunk driver was traveling eastbound on the westbound side of the interstate.
The crash occurred when Joe's friend Juan and the other driver attempted to switch lanes to avoid each other but ended up both switching into the same center lane, causing the two vehicles to crash head on.
41-year-old Palm Springs resident, Juan Reyes, was pronounced dead at the scene. His friend, Joe Fortunato, survived with significant injuries.
As of this writing, doctors say Joe will probably be laid up for about 6 months as he recovers. This of course means that Joe, who makes his living working outside in Palm springs in all seasons will face a significant shortfall financially.
Joe does not live extravagantly, but will not be able to pay his bills without help.
Please contribute what you can today.
Thank you in advance for your help to get Joe back on his feet.
