I’m reaching out to ask for help on behalf of our coworker and friend, Jobita, a dedicated CNA who has spent her career caring for others. Now, she needs our support.

On February 24th, Jobita was diagnosed with endometrial cancer, leading to a hysterectomy in early April. During her diagnostic testing, doctors also found a spot on her adrenal gland that, thankfully, requires no treatment. However, she was also diagnosed with a GIST tumor in her abdomen, requiring oral chemotherapy over the next 6–12 months to shrink it before she can undergo another surgery.

During this time, Jobita is unable to work and needs help to cover medical expenses, which are creating a growing financial burden. She is asking for help to bridge the gap until she is medically cleared to return to work.
