I'm Joan Furst, book and lyrics writer and producer of a workshop production of my lesbian musical, The Sweet Spot. Musicals about lesbians are rare, but there is definitely a large audience in the Bay Area ready for one. And this one will make you laugh, cry, and beg for more!

Even a fairly modest enterprise like this requires financial help beyond what my personal budget can cover. We need additional funds to cover: stipends for the actors and creatives; publicity and website; stage, sets and props; printing scripts.
