Hello! I am helping to spread the word about two incredible opportunities that an amazing young man has access to. Jesus Martinez is a 10th grader at Santa Monica High School. He is an outstanding student (on the honor roll) and has the opportunity to go on two international trips. For his AP class, he has the opportunity to go to Spain. This trip will cost $7000. He also has another opportunity this year to go abroad to Costa Rica with the Spanish language immersion program that he has been a part of since he was in elementary school. That trip will cost $4000. That is A LOT of money for his single mom, Maria, to have to spend. There is no way that she can do it alone. So a suggestion was made by one of our colleagues to have a GoFundMe set up to help offset these costs. Maria would NEVER do this on her own so I, her hermana from another mama, am setting this up to help ensure that Jesus will have the opportunity of a lifetime. On top of being a phenomenal student, he is a beautiful human being. Please help Jesus to be able to partake in these opportunities of a lifetime.
