This past week we received news that nobody ever wants to get. My brother-in-law, Jermey, 47 years old, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. What began as health concerns quickly became the kind of news no one is ever ready to hear.
Jermey is a loving husband, a devoted dad, proud Pop Pop, and the best uncle. Now, he is facing the biggest fight of his life, and we are all standing beside him every step of the way.
Jermey is determined to fight this, but faces a long and rough road ahead. This past week he has gotten so many tests, labs, scans, and soon he will start chemo. Jermey and his family are facing so many unknowns right now.
With everything that has been and is going on, the financial burden they will soon be facing is overwhelming. Medical bills, travel expenses, medications, and time away from work all adds up quickly.
Any donation, no matter the amount, will help ease some of the stress and allow the family to focus on what truly matters—his treatment, healing, and precious time with family. If you’re not able to give, sharing this and keeping Jermey in your thoughts and prayers means just as much.
From Nikki.......From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, support, and generosity during this incredibly difficult time. If you know Jermey, you know his strength, his kindness, and the love he pours into his family and friends. We are holding on to hope and taking this one day at a time.
