Jennifer is the Sunday school teacher for our kids and a very loved and faithful member of our church family. Recently, she had some concerns with her vision and, upon having an eye exam, was told she needed to have an MRI because it was likely a neurological issue. The MRI was scheduled a few weeks out. We were a little bit worried, noticing some of the struggles Jennifer was having leading up to the MRI, but not really sure what they would find. Last week, Jennifer went in for her MRI and was immediately hospitalized because they found a mass on her brain. She had several more scans and ultimately surgery to do a biopsy. The doctors have confirmed that it is lymphoma (cancer). Doctors are working on a treatment plan, but it will be some version of chemotherapy.
Along with all of this, Jennifer is the main provider for herself and her mom, Karen. Her previous job was outsourced, so she has been interviewing and had just gotten a job offer, but obviously hasn’t been able to start anything. Without a regular paycheck, moving into treatment, there is obviously a bit of a financial burden.
We would love it if you are able and would be willing to donate to help them out. Whether or not you are able to donate, we would greatly appreciate it if you could be praying for God’s hand and provision in all of this!
