With heavy hearts, we share that Jenn Balderas, wife, mother, sister, friend, and beloved teacher, has passed away after a courageous and heartbreaking battle with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) — a rare and aggressive neurological disease. Jenn passed on December 28, 2025.

Jenn devoted her life to teaching and caring for others. She was the kind of teacher who made every child feel seen, safe, and loved. Her classroom was filled with warmth, patience, and kindness, and her impact on her students, colleagues, and families will be felt for years to come.

This devastating loss has left Jenn’s family facing not only profound grief, but also unexpected financial burdens. Funds raised through this GoFundMe will be used to help cover:
