Hi everyone,

We’re creating this fundraiser to support Jess, better known to many as Jekka. On Tuesday 7 July 2026 Our family was turned upside down when my beautiful sister was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.

Instead of focusing on living her life, Jek is being flown to St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney to begin treatment as soon as possible. This has been a sudden and unexpected change for Jek and our family. Our focus is now on supporting her through the many months ahead.

If you know Jek, you’ll know she’s always the first to show up for the people around her. Whether it’s supporting her family and friends, cheering on Wagga City Rugby Club or spending time with her beloved fur baby, Goose she always puts others first.

While she fights this battle, the everyday expenses of life don’t stop. Like so many people, she has ongoing financial commitments that continue to pile up. Donations will go towards the cost of her mortgage, travel to and from appointments, medical expenses and day-to-day living expenses while she is away from home in Sydney.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference and help Jess focus on her treatment and recovery. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would also mean so much.
